The machine runs fully automatically, equipped with grinding head magazine and the part magazine, automatically tool change and part loading/unloading, numerically controlled by CNC system.

The grinding/polishing head is spcifically designed and made of soft material. It can effectively wrap the surface of the diameter on as big area of the diameter as possible. Sand paper is glued on the head and then the sand paper touches on the diameter.

The prototype has been tested for one year. It rans stablly and has shown its capability of grinding/polishing outer surface of a shaft. It can grind/polish cone and ball surface.

Patents have been applied for the whole machine and the grinding head assembly.
